Botswana

If you want to experience the real untouched wilderness of Africa, Botswana is the place to be. Traveling in Botswana is adventurous and for the real nature lover. Marvel at Victoria Falls, spot the Big Five in the Madikwe Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, and visit the Okavango Delta and the vast Kalahari Desert. During a safari you have a good chance of encountering elephants, cheetahs, lions, rhinoceroses, zebras and antelopes.

To prevent mass tourism, the government deliberately keeps prices in Botswana high. So you have to pay a little more for it, but the unique Okavango Delta, the salt pans of the Kalahari and the large numbers of game in the Chobe National Park are well worth it!

Namibia

Since its independence in 1900, Namibia has been one of the youngest countries in Africa. In addition, it is one of the least densely populated countries in the world, which means that the nature of Namibia has remained untouched. It is therefore not surprising that more and more people are opting for a tour of Namibia for an unforgettable adventure in the African wilderness . From the endless red-orange sand dunes in western Sosussvlei to the dense wilderness of the northern Etosha Nature Park. But Namibia is also good for wildlife. Safari parks such as Etosha, Bwabwata and Erindi are ideal for a search for the Big Five.

For decades, Europeans and South Africans fought for her diamonds. Today, Namibia is a stable democracy. Different tribes such as the Himba live peacefully side by side and tourists can safely come and admire the beautiful country.

Uganda and Rwanda

In the rainforests of Rwanda and/or Uganda you will look for the different primates that live there. The absolute highlight of any trip to Uganda and Rwanda is of course meeting the rare mountain gorillas. You can find them in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Parc National de Volcans. But both countries offer much more natural beauties, such as cloud forests, vast savannas, lakes and mountains. Such as the Queen Elizabeth National Park, for example. The park offers an unprecedented ecological variety of grasslands, shrub savanna, tree savanna, rainforest and crater plateaus.

Rwanda and Uganda are the countries to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat!

Tanzania

We have already written many travel stories about Tanzania . The country continues to fascinate. The Big Five is a frequently heard reason why people travel to Tanzania. Tanzania is known as the best place in Africa to look for these animals. Tanzania is also known for Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, and the Serengeti, with its endless plains and large herds of wildebeest, buffalo and zebra. In addition to the Big Five, the extensive national parks guarantee magnificent landscapes. All ‘game drives’ are followed by an ideal conclusion on the beautiful island of Zanzibar or one of the other Swahili islands.

Tanzania is the land of the annual migration of hundreds of thousands of ungulates, one of the greatest natural wonders on Earth.
