2. The Rocky Mountaineer

The western part of Canada is actually a gigantic nature reserve with huge mountains, hundreds of forests and wild bears, wolves and other animals. The Rocky Mountaineer cuts through this area and takes you past Niagara Falls, The Rocky Mountains, Jasper and much more. You leave in Toronto and after 16 days of fun on the train you arrive on the other side of Canada in Vancouver.

3. The Indian Pacific

This memorable train journey is named after the two great oceans. The route of The Indian Pacific is no less than 4,352 kilometers long and with this train you travel from Eastern to Western Australia within three days. You start in Sydney and end the trip in Perth (or vice versa of course). You will travel through the impressive Australian landscape and will encounter plenty of kangaroos along the way!

5. The Bernina Express

This train journey has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008 and we can understand why! The Bernina Express travels from Chur, Switzerland, to Tirano, Italy, and this railway is over 100 years old. The route is 122 kilometers long and the train travels through high mountains, beautiful glaciers and deep valleys.
